Is Endoscopic Surgery Right for My Slipped Disc?

The questions that determine whether an endoscopic approach may be considered.

Who may be considered

Endoscopic treatment may suit selected disc herniations with proven nerve compression and persistent symptoms. It is not appropriate for every disc problem.

How the decision is made

The surgeon considers your symptoms, neurological examination, MRI, location of the disc problem, stability of the spine and response to non-surgical care.
